The Web site is divided into eight main areas:
ISE Home Page - containing 'at a glance' financial data and graphs including the day's most traded stocks, ISEQ® index data, real-time ISEQ® graphs, Company Announcements, real-time Government Bond mid-prices and details of the latest listings on the Exchange .
Exchange Profile - outlines the Irish Stock Exchange's corporate structure and provides an overview of its markets, securities and various functions of the Exchange.
Trading & Regulation - this area contains details of the infrastructure and trading environment under which Exchange instruments are dealt. It also gives details of the various markets, securities, trading systems and of corporate and individual Exchange membership. This section also deals with the regulatory regime enforced by the Exchange including specific information for investors on their rights.
Information Products - this covers the range of ISE information products as well as details of the various media, formats and frequencies in which Exchange data is published. These include real-time Continuous Data Feeds, snap-shot Information Packs, Company Announcements Service, periodic publications & Statistical Updates and customer defined ad-hoc data solutions.
Share Prices & Indices - Provides financial data covering ISEQ® index data, Equity / Bond / Covered Warrant prices, market turnover, company announcements, corporate actions and dividend details. It also provides a choice of analytical tools including both daily and historic graphing functionality.
Company Listings - Sets out information on listing equity securities on the four markets (Official List, ITEQ®, Exploration Securities Market and the Developing Companies Market) of the Exchange.
Investment Funds - This area provides details on the listing environment for Investment Funds on the Exchange. It also provides individual fund data (including Net Asset Values).
Specialist Debt Securities - This section contains details of the Exchange's Specialist Debt Securities business. It also provides information on the listing environment for these instruments and data on individual Specialist Debt Securities.
The primary enhancements to the site include:
- Far more user-friendly structure to the website combined with more intuitive navigation.
- All areas of the Exchange's business are represented in greater detail than before. All content and attachments have been updated.
- Enhanced instrument level data, updated daily, for all Exchange instruments.
- Greater depth and frequency of data updates - equity prices are available to registered users hourly from 08:30 to 17:30. Unregistered users may view updates at 10:30, 12:30, 16:30 and 17:30.
- Historic Investment Fund Net Asset Value (NAVs) are now available.
- Improved Graphing facilities - Registered users can view additional equity graphing utilities including Market Capitalisation, Turnover, Volumes and Daily Highs & Lows.
- Publication Subscriptions - Registered users may sign up to receive the Annual Statistical Review, Quarterly Report, Monthly Report and the new Daily Market Summary.
- Data Export Functionality - Registered users have additional export functionality which allows them to export data contained within tables to MS Word and MS Excel
- Improved Search Functionality. Both instrument level and document content are fully searchable.
