Irish Stock Exchange Monthly Statistics - December 2003

Equity turnover for December was EUR 5,215.02 million while that for bonds was EUR 4,839.60 million.

Equity market capitalisation at the end of December was EUR 63,561.90 million compared to EUR 60,973.35 million at end November 2003.

Average daily trading volumes were €261m in December. The 2003 year to date average was €306m.
