Marking a significant milestone in Tehran Securities Exchange (TSE), the IPO of Taban Farda Petrochemical Group took place on Monday, August 31, 2026. Welcomed by over 2 million investors, this fourth IPO of the year heralds a new chapter for the capital market, as a major industrial powerhouse officially enters the oil, gas, and petrochemical landscape.
The Initial Public Offering of 6 billion shares - representing 2% of the company’s total equity - was successfully conducted at TSE. The company is now listed as the 637th issuer on TSE, trading under the ticker symbol “TBAN” within the “Chemicals & By-products Sector”. The shares were priced at IRR 12,800 per share through a book-building process on the main board of the secondary market.
The IPO saw overwhelming participation, with a total of 2,009,671 trading codes placing orders. Ultimately, 1,992,924 investors were successfully allocated shares, with a maximum of 3,697 shares per trading code.
