Kish Island in the Persian Gulf hosted a conference and exhibition on Iran’s Financial Market.
Iran’s Capital Market Summit was held on October 31 in Kish Convention Center, Iran.
The event was organized as a sideline of Kish Invex 2017, which took place 30 October to 2 November.
The summit was well attended by hundreds of local Market’s participants from capital market, banking and insurance sectors, as well as tens of foreign delegates with a special focus on Iran’s Capital Market great diversity and high return.
Among speakers were Chairman of Securities and Exchange Organizations, Ambassadors of Turkey and South Korea to Tehran, Deborah Fuhr, ETFGI’s CEO, George Ugeux of Galileo Global Group, Asad Jafree from Deloitte Middle East, Andreas Skopal of Ernst & Young, and TSE’s CEO, Hassan Ghalibaf Asl.
Dr. Ghalibaf Asl outlined a brief development history of Iran’s Capital Market in the post decade with an increase of the market value more than 10 times in the period. He spotlighted investment opportunities, new developments and facilities, as well as challenges in Iran’s Market.
Turkish Ambassador to Iran, Hakan Takin underlined there have been business ties between Tehran and Ankara always, and now Iran is a new investment destination for Turkey. The stock markets of both countries are cooperating on several projects, including Mutual listing of their listed companies.
