IPO Of Hapag-Lloyd AG At The Frankfurt Stock Exchange - Deutsche Börse Welcomes Shipping Company In Prime Standard - Total Issue Volume Of €304 Million

Die Hapag-Lloyd AG (ISIN: DE000HLAG475) has been listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 6 November. A total of 15.2 million shares were placed in the IPO. The total issue volume was approximately €304 million. The initial listing price was €20.05; the issue price €20.

The IPO was accompanied by Berenberg, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs International. Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs International also act as designated sponsors on Xetra. Baader Bank has the role of the specialist on the Börse Frankfurt venue.

According to the company, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading container liner shipping companies with a fleet of 188 modern container ships. The company has approx. 10,000 employees at 349 sites in 116 countries. Since the merger with CSAV’s container business in December 2014, the Hapag-Lloyd fleet has offered a total transport capacity of around one million standard containers (TEU) as well as a container fleet of 1.6 million TEU. 128 liner services worldwide ensure fast, reliable connections between all the continents.
