IPE Announces Fee Waiver For Brent Crude Futures

We are pleased to announce the following incentives on IPE’s Brent Crude futures:

1. Exchange transaction fees have been waived for electronically traded IPE Brent Futures until 2pm UK time (9am EST) through 31 December 2004.

2. Exchange transaction fees have been waived for white badge locals on IPE Brent open outcry futures through 31 December 2004.

Starting November 1, IPE Brent futures trade exclusively electronic from 2am to 2pm UK time (9pm EST to 9am EST) and in parallel with the open outcry until settlement at 7:30pm UK time (2:30pm EST), with the pit now opening at 2pm UK time (9am EST). IPE’s Brent contract then trades exclusively electronic from 7:30pm UK time (2:30pm EST) to 10pm UK time (5pm EST).
