Participants trading on IPE need to be conversant with the regulations. This new system was developed to produce a more efficient way to access essential information on the exchange's rules and regulations. Previously users would spend time searching for relevant rules in a paper-based system, however, the new online service makes it easier and quicker to obtain the required information. Users can also customise their electronic copy of the rulebook, adding notes and bookmarks.
The IPE chose Complinet for the delivery of its rulebook because of their extensive experience in both this area and the delivery of on-line manuals. "By providing the IPE rulebook online we are enabling compliance officers to search and identify Exchange rules more quickly and accurately," said Marc Leppard, Director of Regulation at the IPE.
He carries on to say: "The transition from a paper based rulebook system to a web-based environment is consistent with our overall electronic strategy. Furthermore, we chose Complinet for its extensive expertise in this area and look forward to working with them to provide compliance officers with equal access and timely rule change updates."
Chris Pilling Complinet CEO said: "We are delighted to be working with the IPE on this project. We are confident that introduction of this new online rulebook service will help firms save time and money by putting the information at their fingertips." The new rulebook is available through the IPE's web site (www.ipe.uk.com).
