In June 2022, total equities turnover value on the GPW Main Market was PLN 17.8 billion, representing a 30.4% decrease year on year, while Electronic Order Book turnover value decreased by 28.0% year on year to PLN 17.7 billion. Average daily Electronic Order Book equities turnover value stood at PLN 844.4 million, a 28.0% decrease year on year. On the last trading day of June 2022, the WIG index closed at 53,573.42 points, representing an 18.9% decrease year on year.
Total June 2022 NewConnect equities turnover value decreased by 48.7% year on year to PLN 179.2 million, while Electronic Order Book equities turnover decreased by 49.4% year on year and stood at PLN 165.3 million.
Total June 2022 derivatives turnover volume was 1,568,400 contracts, representing an 18.0% increase year on year. Index futures turnover volume increased by 41.6% year on year to 738,700 contracts. Single-stock futures turnover volume decreased by 30.9% year on year to 136,800 contracts. Currency futures turnover volume increased by 12.5% year on year to 661,400 contracts.
In June 2022, structured products turnover value decreased by 6.9% year on year to PLN 228.5 million. ETF turnover value increased by 54.1% year on year to PLN 61.8 million.
At the end of June 2022, Catalyst listed non-Treasury bond value was PLN 93.3 billion, compared to PLN 102.3 billion at the end of June 2021. In June 2022, turnover value of non-Treasury bonds on Catalyst’s Electronic Order Book increased by 325.2% year on year to PLN 947.8 million.
In June 2022, total TBSP bond turnover value was PLN 24.0 billion, compared to PLN 37.0 billion in June 2021, representing a 35.3% decrease year on year.
Total June 2022 electricity turnover volume was 12.8 TWh, representing a 29.6% decrease year on year, where spot transaction turnover volume decreased by 12.9% year on year to 2.5 TWh and forward transaction turnover volume decreased by 32.8% year on year to 10.3 TWh.
Total June 2022 natural gas turnover volume was 11.1 TWh, representing an 18.9% decrease year on year, where spot transaction turnover volume increased by 19.3% year on year to 1.2 TWh and forward transaction turnover volume decreased by 21.9% year on year to 9.9 TWh.
Turnover volume of June 2022 spot transactions in property rights to certificates of origin, excluding rights to certificates of energy efficiency (“white certificates”)2, was 2.4 TWh, representing a 4.5% decrease year on year.
In June 2022, turnover volume of property rights to certificates of origin of energy efficiency (“white certificates”) increased by 30.3% year on year to 14.4 ktoe3.
June 2022 turnover volume in Guarantees of Origin of electricity generated from renewable energy sources increased by 67.8% year on year to 4.6 TWh.
At the end of June 2022, the market capitalisation of 375 domestic companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 554.5 billion (EUR 118.5 billion), while the total market capitalisation of 420 domestic and foreign companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 1,093.4 billion (EUR 233.6 billion).
Shares of the companies BLACK ROSE PROJECTS S.A. (offering value: PLN 2.09 million) and GAMES BOX (offering value: PLN 0.65 million) were newly listed on NewConnect in June 2022.
In June 2022, GPW held 21 trading sessions, the same as in June 2021.
