Madron B.V. will act as primary market maker to support trading in these securities.
According to Alan van Griethuysen, Euronext.liffe's sales director, Euronext Amsterdam lists the most real-estate management companies in the euro-zone, and they have become even more popular since they were first included in the Amsterdam Midkap index last year. The introduction of equity options on real estate securities is therefore a valuable addition to Euronext.liffe's wide range of products.
From January until November 2003, almost 228 million equity option contracts were traded on the various marketplaces operated by Euronext.liffe, Euronext's derivatives market. Euronext.liffe has in total 225 equity options listed on its markets.
