Today 12,295,567 ordinary shares of the company Metris were admitted on the regulated market Eurolist by Euronext Brussels.
The IPO consisted of a total offering of 8,145,833 shares (over-allotment included), raising a total of EUR 97.7 million of which EUR 65 million capital increase.
At the end of the first trading day, the share price closed at EUR 12.30, a 2.50% rise compared to the IPO price of EUR 12, bringing the market capitalisation of Metris at EUR 151.2 million.
So far this year, Euronext has attracted 132 new listings raising a total of EUR 21 billion, resulting in an additional market capitalisation of EUR 89 billion.
Metris (www.metris.com) started in 1995 as a spin-off of the catholic university in Leuven, Belgium. Today Metris is a worldwide provider of total solutions for three dimensional quality control to the design and manufacturing communities mainly in the automotive and aerospace industry.
