Introduction Of KBC Private Equity Fund Biotech (Abbreviated Biotech), A Privak Under Belgian Law On The Double Fixing Of Euronext Brussels

As of today, Monday 12 February 2001, 3.416.667 ordinary shares of Biotech are listed on the double fixing of Euronext Brussels: 83.333 existing shares and 3.333.334 new shares. The new shares were offered to the public from 5 February 2001 till 2 March 2001 at a price of 15 EUR per share. An amount of EUR 50 million was collected, the equivalent of the total offered shares.

Biotech is the second Privak listed on Euronext Brussels. A privak is a Belgian closed-end investment company investing in admissible financial instruments issued by unlisted companies and growth companies. Biotech gives the investor acces to venture capital and growth markets, like Nasdaq, Easdaq, Euro.nm, AIM and others. This privak focuses on investment in biotechnology worldwide. Biotech was incorporated by KBC Asset Management NV and BEMAB.

At the first and at the second fixing the price was set at 15 EUR.
