International Promotion Of Warsaw And The Polish Capital Market As The Financial Hub Of Central And Eastern Europe - An International Promotion Campaign Of The Polish Capital Markets Starts On CNN International On 17 June. It Is A Joint Initiative Of The Ministry Of The Treasury And The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs In Co-Operation With Leading Polish Companies: The Warsaw Stock Exchange, PKO Bank Polski, PZU, And Lotos Grup

The goal of the campaign is to promote Warsaw as the financial hub of Central and Eastern Europe. The campaign will increase the interest of foreign investors in the Polish capital market, in particular investment on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The campaign should attract the attention of companies which consider being listed on the WSE, the leading stock exchange in Central and Eastern Europe.

The commercial has been developed by the CNN production house Turner Commercial Productions. The 30 second commercial presents short statements by the CEOs of four Polish companies, who stress the importance of the Polish capital market to corporate growth:

  • Mr Ludwik Sobolewski, CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange,
  • Mr Pawel Olechnowicz, CEO of Lotos S.A. Group,
  • Mr Zbigniew Jagiello, CEO of PKO BP S.A.,
  • Mr Andrzej Klesyk, CEO of PZU S.A.

The campaign includes this special commercial, which will be broadcast in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and a banner to be published on the CNN website. The 10 week campaign is comprised of two parts. The first part is 3 weeks long and starts on 17 June. The second part will last 7 weeks starting in September 2011. The commercial will be broadcast 380 times and the banner will be displayed 2,000,000 times.
