INSCX™ Exchange Appoints Senior Wall Street Figure

INSCX™ - Integrated Nano-Science & Commodity Exchange http://www.inscx.com appoints Frank V Racaneillo as Honorary Chairman and co-ordinator of the exchange’s activities in the United States. Racaneillo is a former head of international trading at PaineWebber, now part of the UBS group, and held similar positions during a decades-long career on Wall Street with firms, Julius Baer, NYSE floor specialist, Model Rowland, and investment banks, Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns.

He was also instrumental in the development and launch of the first electronic stock market, the NASDAQ, in the mid 1970s and one of the first traders to pioneer program trading on Wall Street. Commenting on the hire, an exchange spokesperson added, “We are pleased to have Mr Racaneillo associate himself with the exchange as Honorary Chairman, given his experience across global securities and commodity markets. The exchange recognise his career, marking many pioneering developments in global trading, and high personal regard within the investment banking community, as greatly benefiting the exchange’s presence and standing internationally.”

Mr Racaneillo will act to co-ordinate development of INSCX™ within the United States and help guide the exchange Board of Governors, to be drawn from across producers and end-users of engineered nanomaterials, trade associations and representatives within the securities and commodity brokerage community.

Current Board members include Stephen Cash, chairman of the Board of Governors, and also chief executive officer at NanoCentral®, the alliance of leading companies created to unlock the commercial and societal potential of nanomaterials. http://www.nanocentral.eu Mr Cash has over 25 years experience with ICI plc holding a full range of commercial positions. He helped establish the world’s first commercial route to single-walled carbon nanotube manufacture during his 11 years at Thomas Swann & Co. Mr Cash is also non-executive Director on 4 high-tech start up companies and sits on the advisory board of the Materials Science Department of Cambridge University and on a number of Industrial/Academic projects in materials science.
