Indxx is pleased to announce the licensing of the Indxx High Performance Computing Index by Grayscale Investments. The Index serves as the underlying benchmark for the Grayscale AI Compute ETF (Ticker: GCPU), which began trading in the United States today on CBOI exchange.
The Indxx High Performance Computing Index is designed to track the performance of global companies involved in high-performance computing, AI cloud, and accelerated computing infrastructure activities and services. The index also includes companies that provide supporting infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing such as GPU cloud services, data center hosting, computing infrastructure and related hardware and software solutions.
Rahul Sen Sharma, President and Co-CEO at Indxx, said, “AI infrastructure is now the defining investment theme of this decade. The Data Center GPU Market alone is set to grow from $22.7 billion in 2026 to $159.3 billion by 2033, a 32.1% CAGR, while the Neocloud market is expanding at nearly 58% annually through 2030. The Indxx High Performance Computing Index gives investors direct, rules-based exposure to the companies building that infrastructure — from GPU hardware to Neocloud platforms. We're proud to launch this with Grayscale, and congratulations to their team on bringing it to market."
Steve Vanourny, Head of Index at Grayscale, added, “The AI opportunity extends well beyond software to the physical infrastructure required to power and scale compute. Working with Indxx, we’ve developed an index that captures both the companies building compute capacity from the ground up and infrastructure operators repositioning existing assets to meet growing AI demand. Together, we believe these companies represent the critical infrastructure layer powering the next phase of AI growth.”
As of 22nd September 2026, the index has 25 constituents. For additional information, please see here.
