INDEXCHANGE Investment AG Will List Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50<SUP>SMEX</SUP> And Dow Jones STOXX 50<SUP>SMEX</SUP>

Euronext, the first pan-European exchange -- created by the merger of the Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris exchanges - will list Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50SMEX and Dow Jones STOXX 50SMEX in Paris on 26th September 2001.

They will track the Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 and the Dow Jones STOXX 50. The investment adviser is INDEXCHANGE Investment AG, the European specialist in full replication tracking. Since it was launched at the beginning of this year, the Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50SMEX has become one of the five most briskly traded ETFs in Europe, posting average daily sales of €12 million. INDEXCHANGE Investment AG restricts his all inclusive management fee to 0,4% for Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50SMEX and 0,5% for Dow Jones STOXX 50SMEX.

Trackers are index funds that can be traded on the market in the same way as shares and are also known as exchange-traded funds (ETF). Designed to replicate the performance of an index or basket of stocks, they are simple, fast and cost-effective. Investors buy a single security to benefit from the results of a whole business sector, national economy or region.

The NextTrack segment helps investors identify these new products more easily and choose their preferred index or portfolio type from the range of Trackers on offer.

Euronext is the first pan-European exchange. It was created in September 2000 by the merger of the Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris exchanges. As of 30 June 2001, 1,588 companies were listed on Euronext regulated markets representing a market capitalisation of EUR 2,232 billion and trading volumes on the central electronic order book of EUR 148 billion (monthly average H1 2001) making Euronext the largest exchange in Europe. NextTrack was launched on 9 January 2001 and now counts 25 Tracker funds.
