Effective on Trade Date October 2, 2009, ICE Futures Canada will be upgrading its trading system. As part of this upgrade, certain aspects of trading related to options will be changing. These changes include:
- New enhanced WebICE interface for options
- Reasonability Limits for options
- Stop Order functionality for options
- Reserve Quantity (“iceberg”) functionality for options
- Option bid and offer provides top of book prices only (best bid and best offer) with no market depth.
The Exchange will be hosting a call-in discussion and web-based presentation on Tuesday, September 29 at 2:00 pm CT. All market participants are welcome to participate.
Web-based session and teleconference
To participate in the web-based session:
- Go to the following website link on September 29 at 2 pm CT:

- Enter the meeting password: Options101
- Click "Join Now".
It is also important to verify that your computer has “rich media”

Click on the UCF link at the bottom of the page, and check one of the media players listed.
