ICE Announces Holiday Trading Schedule

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced its futures and OTC holiday trading schedule for the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006. All ICE OTC markets are open for trading throughout the holidays in 2005 and 2006.

Friday, December 23:
Standard trading hours for all ICE Futures contracts with an early designated settlement period for IPE Brent Crude futures and options contracts (12:57 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST, or 5:57 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. UK local time).

Monday, December 26:
All ICE Futures markets will be closed in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Tuesday, December 27:
Standard trading hours for IPE Brent and Gas Oil contracts (8:00 p.m. previous day to 5:00 p.m. EST; 1:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. UK local time) and IPE ECX Emissions futures (3:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. UK local time). UK Natural Gas and Power futures markets will be closed for the United Kingdom observance of the Boxing Day holiday.

Wednesday, December 28:
Standard trading hours.

Thursday, December 29:
Standard trading hours.

Friday, December 30:
Standard trading hours for all ICE Futures contracts with an early designated settlement period for IPE Brent Crude futures and options contracts (12:57 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST, or 5:57 to 6:00 p.m. UK local time).

Monday, January 2:
ICE Futures markets will be closed in observance of the New Year holiday.

Tuesday, January 3:
Standard trading hours.


In 2006, ICE Futures markets will be open every Monday through Friday with the exception of four days: New Year's Day observance (January 2), Good Friday (April 14), Memorial Day/Spring Bank Holiday (May 29) and Christmas Day (December 25).
