ICAP Appoints Kevin Collins To Head Up ICAP’s Futures Business

ICAP plc (IAP.L), the world’s largest interdealer broker announces the appointment of Kevin Collins as Global Head of ICAP’s futures business from 29 August 2005. He will be based in New York and report to Mark Yallop, ICAP’s Group Chief Operating Officer.

Mark Yallop, Group Chief Operating Officer of ICAP, commented, “With 18 years involvement in the futures markets, and having held a wide variety of senior management positions - most recently as Global Head of Futures and Options for Deutsche Bank - Kevin brings tremendous experience to ICAP.

ICAP is already the dominant force in the OTC derivatives and securities broking markets worldwide. Given the very rapid growth of the listed futures markets in recent years, and their importance to our clients, it is critical that ICAP builds a strong presence in the exchange traded derivatives business.

As Global Head of our futures business, Kevin will be responsible for driving the growth of our existing businesses in Europe and Asia and the development of the business in the US.”
