H-Shares Index Options’ First-Day Trading Volume

The following figures are made available in response to media enquiries:

Trading volume for H-shares Index Options, which were launched today, was 605 contracts. A total of 24 Exchange Participants traded the new product.

In addition to H-shares Index Options, options and futures on shares of Chalco, China Life Insurance, China Telecom and Sinopec began trading today. The total volume for the four new stock options was 5,840 contracts.
