HSBC Joins SGX Securities Market As Trading And Clearing Member

Singapore Exchange (SGX) today welcomed The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) to its securities market as a Clearing Member, and HSBC Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited as a Trading Member.

The addition of HSBC brings the number of Trading Members to 25 and the number of Clearing Members in the securities market to 26. The derivatives market has 44 Trading Members and 28 Clearing Members. SGX AsiaClear, the OTC derivatives clearing unit, has 12 Clearing Members for the clearing of OTC financial derivatives.
