Dr. Islam Azzam, Executive Chairman of The Egyptian Exchange has been honored during the 7th Annual Forum for Insurance and Reinsurance held in Sharm Elsheikh from 8th to 10th November 2025, with a wide participation of leaders from financial institutions, insurance and reinsurance companies and representatives of regulatory and supervisory authorities.
This honor is an appreciation of the role that Dr. Islam Azzam played in supporting and developing the insurance sector, enhancing integration among non-banking financial sectors, contributing to achieving financial sustainability and developing the Egyptian market.
Dr. Azzam expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) and organizers of the forum for this honor. He emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation among the various financial institutions across all sectors to support national economy and attract more investments to the Egyptian market.
The opening session of the Forum was attended by high level attendees from leaders and heads of Financial institutions, insurance and reinsurance companies, confirming the importance of joint dialogue and integration among various parties of the financial ecosystem in Egypt.
