Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Welcomes Appointment Of Non-Executive Directors

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) welcomes the appointment by the Financial Secretary of Mr Nicky Lo Kar-chun and Mr Clement Chan Kam-wing as Non-Executive Directors for a term of two years (Note 1).

"I would like to extend a warm welcome to both Mr Lo and Mr Chan who bring to the SFC a wealth of experience and expertise and I look forward to working with them in the Board," said Mr Tim Lui, the SFC’s chairman.

"I also would like to express our gratitude to outgoing Non-Executive Directors Ms Mary Ma Xuezheng and Mr Albert Au Siu-cheung for their invaluable contribution to the SFC’s development during their tenures," Mr Lui added (Note 2).

Notes:

The terms of Mr Lo and Mr Chan will begin on 24 April 2019 and 26 May 2019, respectively.
The terms of Ms Ma and Mr Au will end on 23 April 2019 and 25 May 2019, respectively.
