Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission Welcomes Re-Appointment Of Non-Executive Directors

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) welcomes the re-appointment by the Financial Secretary of Ms Agnes Chan and Mr Edward Cheng as Non-Executive Directors for a term of two years with effect from 20 October 2020 and 1 January 2021, respectively (Note 1).

"Ms Chan and Mr Cheng have been providing the Board and the SFC with valuable insights and advice and I look forward to continuing working with them in their new term," said Mr Tim Lui, the SFC’s chairman.

1. Ms Chan and Mr Cheng were first appointed as Non-Executive Directors of the SFC on 20 October 2018 and 1 January 2017, respectively.
