The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today welcomes the Financial Secretary’s appointment of Ms Elisa Ng as the new Executive Director of Investment Products and re-appointment of Ms Lisa Chen as Executive Director (Legal Services) for a term of three years (Notes 1 and 2).
Ms Ng has over 20 years of experience in asset management. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer and Head of Hong Kong Funds and Institutional Business at J.P. Morgan Asset Management Hong Kong, with responsibilities spanning fund management, product offerings and market engagement. Her industry leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association from 2023 to 2024, as well as her membership on the SFC’s Advisory Committee.
Dr Kelvin Wong, the SFC’s Chairman, said: “On behalf of the SFC’s Board, I warmly welcome the appointment of Elisa and the reappointment of Lisa to the SFC. Elisa’s deep-rooted expertise in asset management, a nuanced understanding of global and local fund markets, and a distinguished reputation forged through decades of industry leadership, are precisely the attributes we need to navigate today’s evolving investment products landscape.”

- Ms Ng’s term will be effective from 8 June 2026.
- Ms Chen became Executive Director of Legal Services Department in 2023. Her new term commences on 22 May 2026.
