Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission Welcomes Appointment And Re-appointment Of Non-Executive Directors

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) welcomes the appointment by the Financial Secretary of Mr Chew Fook-aun and the re-appointment of Ms Agnes Chan Sui-kuen as Non-Executive Directors for a term of two years (Note 1).

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr Chew and I am certain that the SFC will continue to benefit from Ms Chan’s insights,” said Mr Tim Lui, the SFC’s chairman.

“I would also like to thank outgoing Non-Executive Director Mr Edward Cheng Wai-sun for his valuable contribution to the SFC during his six-year tenure,” Mr Lui added (Note 2).

Notes:

1. The terms of Ms Chan and Mr Chew will begin on 20 October 2022 and 1 January 2023 respectively.
2. The term of Mr Cheng will end on 31 December 2022.
