The Securities and Futures Commission’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms Julia Leung and its Executive Director of Intermediaries Dr Eric Yip called on the Vice Minister of Finance, Mr Liao Min, in Beijing on 19 March 2025.
Ms Leung thanked the Ministry of Finance for its support of the development of Hong Kong’s capital markets over the years. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the development of Hong Kong as an international finance centre, particularly the development on fixed income and currency markets, as well as cooperation on enhancing mutual market access for both financial markets.
