The Securities and Futures Commission’s Chairman, Dr Kelvin Wong and its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Julia Leung held a high-level meeting with the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s Chairman, Mr Wu Qing in Beijing yesterday.
The two sides followed up on items of cooperation raised at November’s high-level meeting and explored ways to further strengthen regulatory cooperation, enhance the mutual market access scheme, promote coordinated development of both capital markets as well as consolidating Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre.
