HKFE Trading Hours For The Christmas And Newyear Period

The Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE) announces that there will be no afternoon trading session on Christmas Eve (Friday, 24 December 1999) this year. Accordingly, the trading hours on Christmas Eve will be as follows: Hang Seng Index Futures and Options: 9:45 am to 12:30 pm; Red-Chip Futures & Options: 9:45 am to 12:30 pm; Rolling Forex: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm; Stock futures: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm; HIBOR futures: 8:30 am to 12:00 noon; Hang Seng 100 Futures and Options: 9:45 am to 12:30 pm; Hang Seng Property Sub-index Futures and Options: 9:45 am to 12:30 pm. All of the above markets will be closed on the first weekday following Christmas Day (Monday, 27 December 1999). All markets will trade normal hours on Tuesday, 28 December 1999. All markets will be closed on New Year's Eve (Friday, 31December 1999). All markets will trade normal hours on Monday, 3 January 2000.
