HKEX is pleased to be partnering with the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute and the HKSAR Government to host the inaugural FII PRIORITY Summit in Hong Kong, at HKEX Connect Hall.
This two-day summit has gathered over 100 world-renowned industry leaders, government officials, academics, and other special guests as speakers to discuss the key priorities in today's quickly changing social, economic, and geopolitical landscape. The event has attracted over 1,000 attendees from around the world, including representatives from the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
A gong-strike ceremony was held today (Thursday) to celebrate the first FII PRIORITY summit to be held in Asia, with the presence of officiating guests, including HE Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the FII Institute; Richard Attias, Chief Executive Officer of FII Institute; John Lee, Hong Kong Chief Executive; Paul Chan, Hong Kong Financial Secretary; Laura M Cha, HKEX Chairman and Nicolas Aguzin, HKEX Chief Executive Officer.
HKEX Chairman, Laura M Cha, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the FII Institute and the HKSAR Government to bring this prestigious international conference to Asia for the first time. Sustainability is a key focus of the FII PRIORITY summit in Hong Kong. The emissions generated by the summit will be offset by the purchase of carbon credits by the FII Institute and HKEX, on HKEX’s Core Climate platform.
