HKEx Welcomes Government Appointment Of Eddie Yue To Its Risk Management Committee

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Government's appointment of Eddie Yue as a member of HKEx's Risk Management Committee.

Mr Yue's one-year appointment will take effect on 1 July 2004. He is succeeding James Lau.

Mr Yue, who is currently Executive Director (Corporate Services) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), will become Executive Director (Monetary Management and Infrastructure) of the HKMA with effect from 1 July 2004.
