Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is pleased to announce today (Friday) it will commence FINI user registration and on-boarding in the fourth quarter of 2022, ahead of extensive market testing followed by the platform’s rollout, tentatively in June of 2023.
Since the announcement of FINI in 2021, HKEX has been actively engaging relevant stakeholders to support the platform development process, taking into consideration the needs and preferences of a range of market participants and factoring into its planning other recent market enhancements, such as the introduction of a SPAC regime.
The implementation plan will help ensure market readiness and a smooth transition for all IPO market participants, as HKEX works in partnership with its stakeholders to build the Marketplace of the Future.
To facilitate a smooth migration, HKEX will host a series of technical workshops and demonstration sessions for market participants in the coming months, in preparation for the formal user on-boarding process to start in the fourth quarter.
