Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will introduce three new stock option classes on Monday, 8 December this year: China Resources Land Ltd, China Mengniu Dairy Co Ltd and Haitong Securities Co, Ltd.

China Mengniu Dairy and China Resources Land are constituents of Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index while Haitong Securities Co, Ltd is a constituent of Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, Hong Kong’s benchmark H-shares index.
After the additions, there will be 80 stock option classes available for trading at HKEx. The following tables show HKEx's stock option classes from 8 December.
HKEx's stock options volume for the first 10 months increased more than 13 per cent from the same period last year to 56,794,883 contracts, and open interest (OI) at the end of October was 6,270,023 contracts, or nearly 16 per cent higher than OI at the end of October last year. Moreover, stock options have continued to be the most actively traded product in HKEx’s derivatives market this year, accounting for more than 51 per cent of total volume in the January to October period.
