Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) will introduce options on Hang Seng Index constituents AAC Technologies, Geely Automotive and Link REIT on Monday, 10 April 2017 to further strengthen its options market.
The Link options will be HKEX's first options on a Real Estate Investment Trust, or REIT.
The new options' sizes are in the following table along with the expiry months that will be available for trading when the options are introduced on 10 April.

HKEX has invited applications for market makers for the new stock options.
HKEX's derivatives market will have 87 stock option classes and cover 90 per cent of the Hang Seng Index's constituents after the three additions.
The attached tables show HKEX's stock option classes available from 10 April 2017.
Stock Options Market Data
- Stock options accounted for about 45 per cent of HKEX's derivatives market (futures and options) trading volume in the first two months of this year.
- Stock options trading volume at HKEX was up more than 15 per cent in the first two months of the year from the same period a year ago.
