Reference is made to the announcement of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEX”) dated 13 June 2018 in relation to the renewal of the employment contract of Mr Li Xiaojia, Charles.
HKEX is pleased to announce that the Securities and Futures Commission has, pursuant to Section 70(1) of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, given its written approval of the re-appointment of Mr Charles Li as the Chief Executive of HKEX for a further 3-year term from 16 October 2018 to 15 October 2021, inclusive.
