Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has published on the HKEx website the 24th edition of its quarterly publication, Exchange. This edition includes:
- an update on the Electronic Disclosure Project, which will bring the issuer information dissemination regime in Hong Kong in line with the regimes in other major international financial centres;
- a Chat Room conversation with Archie Tsim, HKEx's Chief Financial Officer, on the investment of HKEx's funds and other aspects of his division's work;
- an overview of HKEx's IT investments over the last few years in its market infrastructure and other areas of its operations;
- an introduction to the proposed closing auction session in HKEx's securities market;
- an article on several initiatives aimed at further improving HKEx's derivatives markets;
- a report on the initial interest in the tender service for the sale and purchase of transferable Trading Rights; and
- a feature on the upgraded News Alert Service available free of charge through the Investment Service Centre on the HKEx website.
