Pursuant to the Articles of Association of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), the unclaimed final and special dividends for 2003 are forfeited and revert to the company.
On 2 March 2010, HKEx announced that pursuant to HKEx’s Articles of Association, the final and special dividends for 2003 of $0.42 and $1.68 per share respectively, both payable on 14 April 2004 and remaining unclaimed on 14 April 2010, would be forfeited and would revert to the company. Accordingly, the unclaimed final and special dividends for 2003 amounting to a total of $13,416,921 are forfeited and revert to HKEx today.
