Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEX”) announces that, to align with the group’s new corporate identity, HKEX’s logo has been changed effective 21 January 2016. HKEX’s old and new logos are set out below for identification purpose.

New share certificates bearing the new logo will be issued. The change of the logo will not affect any of the rights of the existing HKEX’s shareholders. All the existing HKEX’s share certificates in issue bearing the old logo will continue to be effective as documents of title to such HKEX’s shares and be valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery purposes. Accordingly, there will not be any arrangement for the free exchange of the existing share certificates for new share certificates bearing HKEX’s new logo.
