HKEx Change In Senior Executive

The Board of  Directors (“Board”) of  Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx”) announces that Mr Wong Sum Fai, Samuel (“Mr Wong”) has tendered his resignation  as the Chief Financial Officer of HKEx, which by mutual agreement will take  effect from 20 March 2012, to pursue other opportunities.  

A Selection Committee will be formed in due course to identify a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy.

Mr Wong confirms that he has no disagreement with the Board and that he is not aware of any matters relating to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of HKEx’s shareholders.

The Board takes this opportunity to express its gratitude to Mr Wong for his contributions to HKExduring his service, and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
