Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is today (Monday) pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Anthony Crampton as Managing Director, Head of Management Reporting and Facilities Management.
In his role, Mr Crampton will work across HKEX to help oversee the group’s management reporting best-practice, helping the business to make better-informed decisions. Mr Crampton will also oversee the Group’s Facilities Management activities, helping to ensure the functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of our offices and facilities, by aligning our people, processes and technology within our real-estate portfolio.
Mr Crampton will join HKEX on 1 November, and will report to Group Chief Financial Officer Vanessa Lau.

He has more than 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting, where he has held a number of senior finance and audit positions in London, Hong Kong and Sydney. Mr Crampton joins HKEX from the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), where over the last three years, he has served as Director of Corporate Finance, responsible for building robust financial management processes and capabilities and for providing strategic and operational financial information, insight and recommendations. Before this he served as the Head of Audit at HKJC, leading the audit and risk management teams. Prior to this, Mr Crampton was Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services at KPMG, Hong Kong and has served as Global Head of Internal Audit at Bunzl plc, London.
Mr Crampton has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.
