Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced today (Friday) the appointment of Egon Zehnder International Limited to conduct an independent evaluation of the performance of its Board and committees.
The objectives of the evaluation are to assess whether the Board, the committees and their members have performed their roles effectively and fulfilled their responsibilities, and to identify areas for improvement. The appointment reflects HKEx’s commitment to good corporate governance practices.
The evaluation is expected to be completed in about four months.
