The Exchange has reduced the fees for listing debt securities as set out below.
For debt securities listed with a term of less than two years:
- For amounts up to HK$100 million the fee is HK$10,000;
- For amounts above HK$100 million up to and including HK$500 million the fee is HK$12,500; and
- For amounts above HK$500 million the fee is HK$24,000.
- For amounts up to HK$100 million the fee is HK$20,000;
- For amounts above HK$100 million up to and including HK$500 million the fee is HK$25,000; and
- For amounts above HK$500 million the fee is HK$39,000.
- For amounts up to HK$100 million the fee is HK$25,000;
- For amounts above HK$100 million up to and including HK$500 million the fee is HK$30,000; and
- For amounts above HK$500 million the fee is HK$55,000.
- For amounts up to HK$100 million the fee is HK$25,000 plus an additional HK$5,000 for each year or part year that the maturity exceeds ten years subject to a maximum of HK$60,000;
- For amounts above HK$100 million up to and including HK$500 million the fee is HK$30,000 plus an additional HK$5,000 for each year or part year that the maturity exceeds ten years subject to a maximum of HK$70,000; and
- For amounts above HK$500 million the fee is HK$55,000 plus an additional HK$5,000 for each year or part year that the maturity exceeds ten years subject to a maximum of HK$90,000.

The above fees are reduced by 30% for securities listed under a listed debt issuance programme. The fee for listing a debt issuance programme is HK$15,000.
Appendix 8 of the Main Board Listing Rules will be amended with effect from 1 July 2002 to reflect the above. The amended rules will be available on the web site of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (http://www.hkex.com.hk).
