High Trading Volume In TrygVesta On Its Debut On The Copenhagen Stock Exchange

The interest in the TrygVesta share during the company’s first hours on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange has been immense. In the first three hours of trading until 12:00, TrygVesta was the most actively traded share with a turnover of DKK 1.6 billion distributed on 2,798 transactions.

Number of transactions: 2,798

TrygVesta was thus the most actively traded share in the first three hours of the trading day and accounted for 53 percent of the share trading.

By way of comparison, the OMXC20 shares were each traded an average 201 times at a value of DKK 62.7 million during the first three hours of trading in the period from October 3, 2005 and up to and including yesterday.

”The interest in TrygVesta has been overwhelming in connection with the subscription and the trading activity until noon today. It shows that Danish and foreign investors embrace the new investment openings offered by the Danish stock market”, said President and CEO Hans-Ole Jochumsen of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
