High Pressure On New Stock Speculation By Shenzhen Stock Exchange

The person in charge of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange expressed that on the stock market, there were still some signals that some new stock advanced on the first trading day more than expected or a new stock fluctuated sharply at the first listing stage; with respect to the market monitoring information, on the first trading day of a new stock and its subsequent trading, a few investors manipulated the stock price by the means of continued subscription report, subscription at high price in order to bring up the steep fluctuation of the stock price for the sake of seeking illegal interests.

The person added that in order to prevent the trading risk of a new stock on the first trading day and maintain the securities market order, protect legitimate rights and interests of investors, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange will carry the key-point regulation on substantial abnormal trading conducts suspected of law or regulation violation.

With regard to substantial abnormal conducts in the trading of a new stock, Shenzhen Stock Exchange actively exploited the advantage and role in respect of systemic and concerted supervision and control, law enforcement, the following measures has been taken: 1, timely requesting the CSRC advanced investigation; 2, continuously strengthening the administration duty of securities business parties on the trading conducts of clients; 3, carrying out the trading limitation measures with respect to major abnormal trading account; 4, timely taking prevention and risk warning.

At the same time, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange hereby reminds all investors of setting up the thoughts of rational investment and participation in securities trading in accordance with relevant law and regulation.
