HEX Adopts New Transaction Business Organisation

As of 1 April, HEX Group will work with a new business organisation to ensure customer orientation and efficiency of processes. The Group will have five businesses: Marketplace, Operations, Securities Services, Baltic Operations and Information Solutions.

Under the new organisation, Marketplace will be in charge of listing of securities, servicing of listed companies and trading operations. Executive Vice President Jouni Torasvirta will head the business unit.

Operations business unit will be in charge of operational book-entry services and settlement and depository activities. Executive Vice President Heikki Sirve will head the business unit.

As of 3 February, the Group Executive Board will consist of Jukka Ruuska, President and CEO, Teuvo Rossi, Executive Vice President and CFO, Liisa Jauri, Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning, Jouni Torasvirta, Executive Vice President, Marketplace, Heikki Sirve, Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate IT and Veli Matti Salmenkylä, Executive Vice President, Securities Services.

Mika Björklund, Executive Vice President in charge of Issuer Services, will report to Jouni Torasvirta as of 1 April, 2003. Executive Vice President Lasse Musakka has resigned from his duties as of 11 April, 2003.
