Helsinki Exchanges Evening Trading Cut Back By One Hour As Of 2 April

Evening trading at Helsinki Exchanges will be cut back by one hour as of 2 April, 2002, when the shorter hours will be applied for the first time. Otherwise trading hours will remain unchanged.

HEX has actively monitored evening trading and surveyed the experiences of customers. One of the findings was that two-thirds of the turnover of evening trading took place during the first hour. Based on the feedback received, a decision was made in December to cut back evening trading by one hour. Evening trading started at Helsinki Exchanges on 11 April 2001.
