Havas Advertising Lists On Nasdaq

Havas Advertising will begin trading its American Depositary Shares (ADSs) today on The Nasdaq Stock Market® under the symbol HADV. The Paris-based advertising communications group is the most recent addition to a growing list of new issues that have joined Nasdaq.

Havas Advertising's ADS listing results from its acquisition of Snyder Communications (NYSE: SNC) which was approved by shareholders on September 25, 2000 and became effective on September 26, 2000. As a result of this acquisition, Havas Advertising is now the world's fourth largest communications group.
