To celebrate the listing of bonds on NYSE Alternext in Amsterdam, Hanzevast opened trading this morning. NYSE Alternext is the platform of NYSE Euronext that meets the needs of small and mid-sized companies seeking simplified access to the stock market. NYSE Alternext offers these companies alternative means of financing. Hanzevast is the first issuer of bonds on NYSE Alternext in Amsterdam.

The issuer of the bonds is Vlootfonds Hanzevast 3- ms Hanze Göteborg NV. As of 14 October 2,650 subordinated bonds were listed at a price of EUR 1,000 per bond. Listing sponsor was SNS Securities. The listing enhances the marketability and liquidity of the bonds, which increases the attractiveness of the product. Hanzevast intends to get a second listing on NYSE Alternext Amsterdam in 2011 to list a similar bond.
To celebrate the new listing capt. Martijn Mobach, director of Hanzevast Shipping and Director of Vlootfonds Hanzevast 3 - ms Hanze Göteborg, sounded the gong on the Amsterdam market of NYSE Euronext, which denotes the opening of trading. He was accompanied by members of Hanzevast’s management and NYSE Euronext.
