Handling Of Component Issues For The MSCI JAPAN Index(SM)

Morgan Stanley Capital International Inc. (MSCI) announced the following handling of component issues.

SAMMY CORPORATION (code : 6426) and SEGA CORPORATION (code : 7964) will be deleted from the MSCI JAPAN Index as of the close of September 24.SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS INC. (code : 6460) will be added to the MSCI JAPAN Index as of the close of September 24.

During this transitional period from September 27 to September 30, 2004, For the price of SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS INC. MSCI JAPAN Index will use SAMMY CORPORATION closing price of September 24, 2004.
