Mexican company Iusacell will start trading on LATIBEX as from June 14th, the company having received the authorisations necessary to list on the market.
Grupo Iusacell is Mexico’s second largest provider of mobile telephony services and personal computers as measured by EBITDA results. The company’s services cover approximately 90% of the country’s total population. It offers voice and data transfer communication services.
Iusacell is the third company belonging to Grupo Salinas to list on LATIBEX, after TV Azteca and Grupo Elektra did so in November 2004.
With the incorporation of Grupo Iusacell LATIBEX increases its offer of Mexican securities on the market, now boasting 9 companies from different sectors.
Rbc Dexia and Cajamadrid will act as specialist intermediaries for the Grupo Iusacell. Trading in the stock will take place in lots of 1 share under the code “XCEL” .
On its debut on the market, at 10:00 CET, Bruno Rangel, the company’s Head of Corporate Communication, will present Iusacell’s business model to analysts, managers and the media. The event will take place at the Bolsa de Madrid.
