Greece–Turkey Joint Index “Gt-30” Meeting - ISE Chairman & CEO Mr. Hüseyin Erkan And Athex Chairman Mr. Spyros Capralos Will Hold A Meeting At The ISE To Promote The “GT-30 Index”

Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) Chairman & CEO Mr. Hüseyin Erkan and ATHEX Chairman Mr. Spyros Capralos will hold a meeting at the ISE to promote the joint “Greece-Turkey 30 Index”, briefly “GT-30”, on December 10th. The Chairman of Capital Markets Board of Turkey, Prof . Vedat Akgiray will also deliver a speech. The Index is the product of a long-term cooperation between the two Exchanges.

The Greece & Turkey 30 Index (GT-30), the STOXX Customized index launched on 28 September 2009 comprising of the 30 companies, 15 from each market having the biggest market capitalisation between the companies listed in the two exchanges is the first concrete act of the long term collaboration between the two markets.

The meeting will bring together ISE member brokerage houses and banks, portfolio managers and the representatives of 30  Greek and Turkish companies included in the GT-30.

STOXX calculates the GT-30 Index as price and return indices denominated in TRY and EUR terms. The base date of the Indices is December 31st, 2005, and the base value is 1,000.
